These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Servant of Jesus Bible reading application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Servant of Jesus ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Servant of Jesus provides a Bible reader with multiple public-domain translations, notes, highlights, bookmarks, reading tools, a prayer journal, verse memorization, and AI-assisted study features. The Service is provided free of charge. Optional donations can be made through third-party payment providers (e.g. PayPal) and are non-refundable gifts.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Acceptable use

You must not:

Use the Service for unlawful purposes, fraud, or spam
Infringe intellectual property rights
Interfere with the security of the Service (malware, probing, unauthorised scraping)
Attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service
Use the AI features to generate unlawful, hateful, deceptive, or defamatory content

4. Intellectual property

Servant of Jesus retains all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, designs, and branding. Bible translations offered through the Service are used under their respective public-domain or open licenses. You retain ownership of the notes, highlights, and journal content you create; you grant us a limited license to host and process this content solely to provide the Service.

5. AI features

AI-generated responses (Assistant, Topic Explorer, Knowledge Graph, Character Profiles) may be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided for study and reflection only and are not a substitute for pastoral, theological, legal, medical, or professional advice. You are responsible for verifying accuracy before relying on AI output.

6. Service availability

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations.

8. Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
